“I was looking for love in all the wrong places,”
said Frank Tropepe, 68, who has been in and out of prison for a total of 15 years for sexual battery on a child under 12 and various “lewd and lascivious” charges. “If you go to prison for murder, you get respect. If you go for child molestation… it’s a different story.” Tropepe said he’s glad he went to prison, and that it’s one of the best things that ever happened to him. “Because in there you have time to think, time to get right with God.”
